What is the difference between open and enclosed transport?

Open transport is the most common method of shipping a car, but it’s important to note that your vehicle will be exposed to the elements while it’s in transit. This includes things like rain, sun, and dust. While open transport is a safe and secure way to ship your car, you do have the option to request top load for extra protection – especially if you’re shipping a new car.

Enclosed transport is often the preferred method for those who own collector cars, as it offers protection from weather elements and flying debris that could cause damage. This type of transport is also used for classic, luxury, vintage, custom and sports cars.
